Terms of Service
Central Labs Compounding Pharmacy
Effective date: 31 May 2026
Welcome to Central Labs Compounding Pharmacy. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, online prescription upload service, quote request forms, ordering process, pharmacy services and related communications.
By using our website or submitting a prescription, order request, enquiry or patient information, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. About Central Labs
Central Labs Compounding Pharmacy
Oxford Close, West Leederville WA
Website: https://www.centrallabs.com.au
Email: [insert email]
Phone: [insert phone number]
ABN: [insert ABN]
In these terms, “Central Labs”, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Central Labs Compounding Pharmacy.
2. Pharmacy and health services
Central Labs provides pharmacy services, including prescription dispensing, compounded medicines, sterile and non-sterile preparations, veterinary medicines, clinical trial pharmacy services and related pharmacy advice.
All medicines and pharmacy services are supplied subject to applicable Australian laws, professional standards, prescription requirements and pharmacist assessment.
Submitting a prescription, enquiry or order request does not guarantee that a medicine will be supplied. We may decline, clarify, delay or cancel a request where required for legal, clinical, professional, safety, stock, quality or operational reasons.
3. Prescriptions and patient information
You must only upload or submit a prescription or patient information if you are:
- the patient;
- the patient’s parent, guardian, carer or authorised representative;
- the pet owner or authorised representative for a veterinary prescription; or
- otherwise authorised to provide the information.
You agree that all information you provide is true, complete and current.
We may contact you, your prescriber, veterinarian or authorised representative to verify prescription details, clarify information or confirm clinical suitability before preparing or supplying a medicine.
4. Compounded medicines
Compounded medicines are prepared for an individual patient or animal based on a valid prescription or lawful request.
Because compounded medicines are customised, preparation may not begin until required information has been received, reviewed and accepted by Central Labs.
Compounded medicines may have specific storage, expiry, handling, administration and delivery requirements. You agree to follow the instructions provided by Central Labs, your prescriber or veterinarian.
5. Quotes and pricing
Any quote provided by Central Labs is based on the information available at the time.
Prices may change if prescription details, strength, quantity, formulation, ingredients, urgency, delivery method or other requirements change.
A quote does not require Central Labs to supply a medicine if we later determine that the request cannot or should not be fulfilled for legal, clinical, professional, safety, stock or quality reasons.
6. Orders, payment and cancellation
Payment may be required before a medicine is prepared, dispensed, released or delivered.
For compounded or customised medicines, cancellation is generally only possible before preparation has commenced.
Once ingredients have been ordered, preparation has commenced, or the medicine has been compounded, labelled, dispensed or released, the order may not be cancellable or refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law or where the issue was caused by Central Labs.
7. Delivery and collection
Medicines may be made available for collection or delivery, depending on the medicine type, location, legal requirements and suitability for transport.
Some medicines may require temperature-controlled packaging, special handling or specific delivery conditions.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by courier availability, stock, compounding workload, prescription clarification, weather, transport issues or other factors outside our control.
You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and ensuring someone is available to receive medicines where required.
8. Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy and Australian Consumer Law.
Due to safety, quality and regulatory requirements, we generally cannot accept returns of prescription medicines, compounded medicines, sterile preparations, temperature-sensitive medicines or customised products once they have been prepared, dispensed, supplied or left our control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Businesses must meet consumer guarantees when supplying goods or services, and those rights cannot be removed by a store policy or terms of service.
9. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
You may be entitled to a refund, replacement, repair, correction or other remedy where a product or service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, including where it is faulty, unsafe, not of acceptable quality, not fit for purpose or does not match its description.
For services, consumer guarantees include that services are provided with due care and skill, are fit for any stated purpose and are supplied within a reasonable time where no time has been agreed.
10. No emergency medical service
Our website and online forms are not an emergency service.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, serious adverse reaction, poisoning, overdose, breathing difficulty, chest pain or severe symptoms, call 000 or seek urgent medical attention.
For medicine-related concerns, contact your prescriber, pharmacist or an appropriate emergency health service.
11. Information on the website
Information on our website is general information only and is not a substitute for medical, veterinary or professional advice.
You should not start, stop or change any medicine based only on website information. Always follow advice from your prescriber, veterinarian or pharmacist.
We aim to keep website information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, up to date or suitable for your individual circumstances.
12. User responsibilities
You agree not to:
- upload false, altered, expired or invalid prescriptions;
- impersonate another person;
- submit information you are not authorised to provide;
- misuse the website or online forms;
- attempt to interfere with website security or operation;
- use our website for unlawful, misleading or fraudulent purposes.
We may refuse service, cancel a request, block access or report concerns where we reasonably suspect misuse, fraud, safety risk or unlawful activity.
13. Clinical suitability and outcomes
Medicines may not achieve the intended clinical outcome in every patient or animal.
A lack of response, side effect, change in treatment plan or prescriber decision to stop therapy does not automatically mean a product is faulty or refundable.
You should contact your prescriber, veterinarian or pharmacist if you have concerns about treatment response, side effects, suitability, dose or administration.
14. Privacy
We handle personal information and health information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By submitting information through our website or communicating with us, you acknowledge that we may collect, use, store and disclose personal and health information as described in our Privacy Policy and as required or permitted by law.
15. Intellectual property
All website content, branding, logos, graphics, images, text, layouts and design elements are owned by or licensed to Central Labs unless otherwise stated.
You may view and use our website for personal, lawful purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
16. Third-party links and services
Our website may include links to third-party websites, payment providers, delivery services or external platforms.
We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, security, availability or terms of third-party websites or services.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Central Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of our website, delays, delivery issues, service interruptions, reliance on general website information or misuse of medicines.
Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
18. Unfair contract terms
These Terms are intended to operate fairly and consistently with Australian law.
If any term is found to be unfair, invalid or unenforceable, that term will be severed or read down to the extent necessary, and the remaining terms will continue to apply. Australian law protects consumers and small businesses from unfair terms in standard form contracts.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
The latest version will be published on our website and will apply from the effective date shown at the top of the page.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Western Australia and Australia, as applicable.
